1BigDog Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 So, I take off for work in my SUV and my battery light comes on and the gauge is reading 10V. Alternator decided to crap out. I guess for 160k and 12 years I was lucky. Loss of a days pay and the next few hours replacing it would justify a shop doing it but since its a Friday night and they are closed Sat/Sun im screwed. Poop happens....GRRRRR

Guest Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Looks like im doing this one myself. Ill pull it out tonight and p/u a new one in the AM. Then go to work. Im just waiting until I no longer have the urge to beat someone to a pulp before I go and remove it......
