Nasty tornados in Texas near Squidley

Weather Channel is reporting some bad tornado's near Cleveland Texas around 10:30 pm EST. This is near Squidley's neck of woods or prairie.

 

Hope him and others are not off to OZ !!

The news this morning is saying the tornado's were really bad last night with 6 confirmed dead. Hope everyone down that way is ok.

I'll be honest with you, I slept through everything that happened. We are good here, Gunboat is right in Cleveland, were about 8 miles out of the city. Were good, I know yesterday evening there was some nasty storms running through the Fort Worth area around where Master guns lives. Hoping all is well with the folks up there in FW and Dallas.

Gary, Thanks for asking. First, I and my family are all ok; just a little lighter from having the crap scared out of us last night. The tonadoe breakout wasn't very far from my place; maybe 8 or 10 miles as the crow flies. The winds were really bad and I do have some tree damage. Took off work yesterday through tomorrow with plans to ride down to Temple to participate in the BBG 2000 that started this morning but am staying home because the chances of a repeat are pretty good for this evening. I have an underground storm shelter so as long as we are in that thing we could survive an F5. But no room for my scooters, just we three and the dogs .....damn.
