HI Guys

I was thinking about putting a CD changer in the left trunk on my 88 Royal.

My question;

1) Which brand works the best bouncing around in the trunk? (even though it's secured to the trunk)

2) What cord to plug into the stereo, and does the stereo have an AUX for it?

3) And last, does the stereo control the changer or does it have a seperate control for the handle bars?

Thanks Guys

Gene'o

P.S.

And does anyone have one they would like to sell that still works good with the CD holder cartridges? But doesn't cost as much as new?

thanks

Well, personally I think you would be much happier with an MP3 player, holds lots more music and takes up lots less space. You can convert your CD's to MP3 on your computer easily enough...

You can have a din plug made up to plug in instead of the Cassette, or just use a cassette adapter.

Yea I was going to say the same thing man. Even Yamaha saw the light and now offers the I-pod instead of the CD changer. They are heavy and talke up alot of room. If I take the wife for the week I end up taking the changer out of the left saddlebag so I got enough room to put 2 sets of rain gear.

Id say go with an MP3 player or if your Apple savy (which In not at this time) go with an I-thingy of your choice. Right now I'm partial to Pandora on my phone played thru the stereo.

+1 on the cd changer taking up half the saddlebag. Music has been my life forever and I Also have the MP3 player. There is something to be said about just popping in your own discs and riding. Now if only yamaha can see see the light on installing a CD player where the ANTIQUE cassette player is........:confused24:
