KenP Posted May 15, 2013 #1 Posted May 15, 2013 Just a quick public note of thanks to Rick for the upgrade and repair to my 08 RSV front seat. I guess the PO had taken an open end wrench to one of the nuts to loosen the seat and buggared up the vinyl. Rick did a superb job of repairing it, and also installed memory foam underneath. I coordinated the delivery time with him, and he finished it in a day. Bought the seat fasteners as well, so no more hunting for a 10mm socket to remove the seat. Took it for a ride this afternoon, and it was a huge improvement comfort-wise over the stock seat foam. He has a vendor ad in the classifieds for those not familiar. Thanks Rick !!
hubbsfd Posted May 15, 2013 #2 Posted May 15, 2013 I just got my Butt Butler seat mod back from Rick too. He shipped it back to me fast so I was riding when I got home from my trip. Excellent workmanship and the comfort is great. Rick is a class act all the way around.

KenP Posted May 15, 2013 Author #4 Posted May 15, 2013 Seat fasteners? What are those? These......probably should have said "thumb nuts" as that is the way he advertises them. http://www.venturerider.org/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=3921&title=-26quot-3bbutler-built-26quot-3b-rsv-seat-thumb-nuts26amp-3b-rear-seat-thumb-bolts&cat=25
Barrycuda Posted May 15, 2013 #5 Posted May 15, 2013 Rick is the man. Had my modification done a short time ago and he was nice enough to toss in the thumb screws. This weekend heading up to Tennessee, I am looking forward to a great, relaxing seat all the way to and from...
