meach Posted May 14, 2013 #2 Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) Pretty cool. Being retired I go to the library about each week and load up on DVDs (free and beats watching the crap on TV) a couple weeks ago I watched "The Motorcycle Diaries" which is about the 15,000 mi mc trip Ernesto (Che) Guevara and Alberto Granado took in their youth on an old Norton 500, the movie was pretty good, the early part of the movie was more about the bike ride, the bike died later in their trip. The beginning of this guys video is a take-off on the movie in case you've never seen it. The DVD had an interview with the real Alberto (must be in his 80s now) in which he says they wrecked the bike about 50 times along the trip and finally had to junk it just as in the movie. Miles Posted May 14, 2013 #3 Posted May 14, 2013 I have done that, to the extent of riding from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to the southern tip of South America, however I did not film the entire trip like this guy did.
