Well I decided to give em a try. I know they are pricey but they just seem so cool. I ordered the National Cycle Peacemakers for my RSV today. They won't ship till next Monday so I'll have them by the 22nd I hope. I love how quiet the RSV is and it's great to be able to hear the stereo but there are those occasions when you just want to have some rumble. This just seems to be such a cool options. I haven't found much on this site about the Peacemakers so when I get them on I'll do a write up for ya'll.

Well, my new slip on's were supposed to ship Monday May 20th according to the email I got the day I ordered them which was Monday May 13th. Just got an email from Cruiser Customizing they are telling me they are having a delay getting them in from their supplier. New estimated ship date? June 21st. I've been doing business for years with Cruiser Customizing and have always been satisfied with them but this is just weird. I've visited 5 other web retailers that actually have them "in stock" not just stating available or usually ships in 2 - 3 days. Heck Sears even has them "in stock" (of course it ships from a third party). J.C. Whitney specifically lists two in stock and they are $80 bucks cheaper. I did email CC back to see if they could maybe do better some how:confused24:. We'll see.

Update: I don't know what Cruiser Customizing did or how they did it but they shipped my Peacemakers out today! I said it before and I'll say it again. I always go to Cruiser Customizing first for most needs. I usually end up ordering from them if the price is within reason one way or the other. They have always had superior customer service and I know they did something extra special for me. They first responded to my email asking if they could help with the extreme delay and they responded that the manufacturer was back ordered but they would flag the shipping department to see if anything could be done. WELL THEY DID IT! I should have them for the Memorial Day weekend to get them installed and ride.

Oh yea!! these motors sound great with some Loudeners. I have Samson slash cuts on mine and a couple buddies have the Bubs. Haven't heard the peacemakers but I'm sure you'll like the change.
