Freebird Posted February 12, 2008 #1 Posted February 12, 2008 I told you that I was busy on Saturday building a base for a hot tub. Got it all installed and warmed up. Got all the chemicals adjusted right and tried it out tonight for the first time. I had one when we lived in Dallas but forgot how much I enjoyed it. Sitting out there with light snow flurries and 12 degrees with the spa temp steady at 101 F and a hot cup of coffee....a little bit of heaven in the frozen north. I feel more relaxed than I've been in months. OH...and ONE MORE THING. Come maintenance day here...there will be NO pond monster in the spa. Some of you will KNOW what I'm talking about.
mini-muffin Posted February 12, 2008 #2 Posted February 12, 2008 Gee Don spoil all the fun. If the monster keeps his clothes on can he get in? Margaret
Guest BluesLover Posted February 12, 2008 #3 Posted February 12, 2008 Some of you will KNOW what I'm talking about. Don - don't you mean to say ... Some of you will KNOW who I'm talking about??? Cheers,
MikeM8560 Posted February 12, 2008 #4 Posted February 12, 2008 Got to love it, when it down cold here 40s i like to hop in the tub 101º then the pool 68º to cool off then do it all over again
Freebird Posted February 12, 2008 Author #5 Posted February 12, 2008 Yes...the monster could enter so long as he is clothed. Clothing is MANDATORY. Exceptions will be made at the discretion of the owner....well....so long as the owner's wife is not around. Exceptions may include but are not limited to: Pamela Anderson, Marisa Tomei, Halle Berry, etc. etc. etc.......
Freebird Posted February 12, 2008 Author #6 Posted February 12, 2008 Don - don't you mean to say ... Some of you will KNOW who I'm talking about??? Cheers, Hey...I'm not one to mention names. That's not to day that YOU can't.
Midrsv Posted February 12, 2008 #7 Posted February 12, 2008 I keep out tub at 103 to 104 degrees and it is great when it gets down in the teens. I hate it when those snowflakes hit my shoulders though. DT
Guest ReinyRooster Posted February 12, 2008 #8 Posted February 12, 2008 We shouldn't mention any names ....but....was it "Charlie the Tuna?":rotf:

Guest maddabber Posted February 12, 2008 #12 Posted February 12, 2008 Why would anybody want a tuna in a hot tub, wouldn't be DEAD. Just remember no unnecessary bubbles. I bet there is something in the coffee as well:confused24:

E-Fishin-C Posted February 12, 2008 #15 Posted February 12, 2008 I hear that in a short period of time catfish grow huge in chemical infested hot tubs:rotfl:
DragonRider Posted February 12, 2008 #16 Posted February 12, 2008 Dont know that I would want to see those pics if the "pond monster" is unclothed...........I dont think that would be allowed on this site.........not a pretty picture in my mind.......
Marcarl Posted February 12, 2008 #17 Posted February 12, 2008 It would be long and lean And not want to be seen
E-Fishin-C Posted February 12, 2008 #18 Posted February 12, 2008 It would be long and lean And not want to be seen You must be talking about Don's Catfish

Tartan Terror Posted February 12, 2008 #21 Posted February 12, 2008 Let Charlie come over and he can provice the Bubbles!!! LOL
gibvel Posted February 12, 2008 #22 Posted February 12, 2008 Exceptions may include but are not limited to: Pamela Anderson, Marisa Tomei, Halle Berry, etc. etc. etc....... Don...glad to see you're letting me have Marisa Tomei. I'm assuming that, since you've got her listed second that I have her as my #1 pick all to myself.
Freebird Posted February 12, 2008 Author #23 Posted February 12, 2008 Actually...she would be my number one pick from those listed. Pamela Anderson has too many miles on her now.
gibvel Posted February 12, 2008 #24 Posted February 12, 2008 Too late, you listed her second! I can have Marisa, I can have Marisa , I can have Marisa!!
Freebird Posted February 12, 2008 Author #25 Posted February 12, 2008 FINE...if you are going to be THAT way about it. I don't want Pamela though....I'll just find me another one.
