AngryAmish Posted May 11, 2013 #1 Posted May 11, 2013 I am looking into getting a trailer to ride up to Montreal, Canada. I've seen quite a few, HF and other models including an Aluma trailer. How are they ? I don't want to spend more than $1000. Are they reliable ? Do they need alot of maintenance ? I saw this ad, do you think price is reasonable ? Thanks http://daytona.craigslist.org/mcy/3781535158.html http://columbia.craigslist.org/mcy/3791323499.html
Rick Haywood Posted May 11, 2013 #2 Posted May 11, 2013 Check These out I had one and we are raffling off one for the International rally. ($10) gets a chance. Talk to Robin there when you call. You will have to leave a message but she will call back. $1150 for a new one. http://minitrailerusa.com/
Sylvester Posted May 11, 2013 #3 Posted May 11, 2013 I have the Shadow Diamond that Rick mentioned. Sticks like glue to the rear of the bike and tracks perfectly. I love it.
Motorcycle Mike Posted May 13, 2013 #4 Posted May 13, 2013 (edited) I've pulled my Aluma many thousands of trouble free miles. I grease the wheel bearings every few thousand miles. I broke one of the plastic hub caps while removing it from the shed. I called Aluma to purchase a replacement, They sent me 2 as well as the metal part that bolts to the wheel, free. Great cust. service. Edited May 13, 2013 by Motorcycle Mike
