elmicko Posted May 10, 2013 #1 Posted May 10, 2013 Got a good buddy that just joined the Royal Star world with a sweet 97 RSTC with only 17,000 miles. It's a Standard with 4X4 pipes. He's wanting to put some nice deep and loud pipes, hard saddlebags and a batwing faring. Can I get some advice on the tried and true options for these add-ons? My first thought too was to have him join up and get aquatinted, but he doesn't own a computer. You all have always helped me, hope you can help my buddy too.
djh3 Posted May 10, 2013 #2 Posted May 10, 2013 Theres been few posts on guys adding fairings. I would for least expense and hassle of finding brackets etc look towards Memphis shades. If he wants more of a full on faring try reckless motorcycle farings. Mutazu makes some nice looking pieces. These hardstreet look interesting. I would stay away from Viking. I have not heard good things about them. Thin materials and flimsy lock systems. I thought there was a company called Tsukayu or something like that but I cant find my link right now. Mutazu has a very nice selection of styles and sizes, bags, trunks if you wish and even have a faring. (found link for tsukayu)
elmicko Posted May 10, 2013 Author #3 Posted May 10, 2013 Thanks!! Keep 'em coming. I'm making a list for him.
