Hummingbird Posted May 9, 2013 #1 Posted May 9, 2013 A guy I've known for 20 plus years used to have his own welding truck, even had a DC stick welder on a medium sized riding mower and using the gasoline motor to drive the tractor as well as his welder. Needless to say he got a LOT of house calls for items that could not be moved or had limited access. Also, he has MS and is confined to an electric driven mobile unit. He has several of them, all for different uses. He had to retire his truck long ago because of the MS but his welding has not suffered at all - witness his handy work in the attached pictures. A total aluminum trailer custom made for my trike. Of course the axle and hitch are steel but -
Rookie725 Posted May 9, 2013 #2 Posted May 9, 2013 Great looking trailer - beautiful welds. You'll enjoy this trailer for many years to come.

Carbon_One Posted May 10, 2013 #8 Posted May 10, 2013 Very nice trailer you have there Dick. I like that the front will give your bike protection. What size is it? Larry
Hummingbird Posted May 10, 2013 Author #9 Posted May 10, 2013 Very nice trailer you have there Dick. I like that the front will give your bike protection. What size is it? Larry 6' x 10' inside and the axle is dropped enough that you can hardly notice the grade going up the ramp. total weight 800lbs had to buy a 5 1/2" drop receiver so the trailer would sit level

Flyinfool Posted May 20, 2013 #15 Posted May 20, 2013 OH NO!!!! There are so many ways to inflict bodily damage with a welder........ Can your new welder weld Titanium?
