I have an '07 Midnight Venture (love this bike by the way). I was wondering if there is a preferred cover for taking on the road and also if I have to remove the antennas each time I want to cover the bike.

Thanks is andvance for the feedback.

There is a little sleeve at the base of both ant. lift the sleeve and they fold forward.

I bought a cover off ebay think it was 19.99 very thin, but it has held up great for 4 yrs now and it packs up very small, about the size of a small football, so it doesnt take up much room.

Ultraguard is a pretty popular brand cover for inexpensive and easy packing. See them in most bike shops and on eBay all the time. Usually around $20.00 - $30.00 range. I have both full cover for long storage (7 yrs old) and a half cover (3 yrs old) to keep in the bags all the time for keeping the bike dry and the sun off for the short stops on trips.

Both mine have held up very well and fairly tough. There are better one, but for the money........

I have 2 covers also. One I use when bike is at airport while I am out of town. The other is a light weight cover sort of a "dust" cover so to speak. It isnt really water proof but will keep the dew off. Usually that is the one I use while travleing. Packs pretty small. Smaller than what my tourmaster jacket will roll up. The other is a Nelson Rigg. I gave around $35-40 for it and its a nice heavy cover.

Took the plunge a bought a Dowco Guardian Cover. It was a little pricey, but it seems sturdy and fits the bike like a glove. Folding the antennas down made all the difference in the world. Thanks again.
