Cheaper CB antenna Replacement?

I went out to my new to me 2003 RSV today and noticed the CB antenna was missing above the lower ballast collar. I don't know what happened to it, but I am looking for a replacement and it doesn't have to be OEM style. I don't know anything about electronics so I would like it to be a screw on replacement if possible.

 

The local dealer just informed me that he is asking 246 for the cb mast, and partshark is 154 and boats.net is 176.

I was thinking for that kind of price I may be able to get a newer style solution.

this is what I did. Its on a 91 but it works great. I guess you could do it twice so the radio antenna matches

Not sure if a place that sells cb's would be able to suggest something. Issue might be the mount.

Wish he'd change the back ground and text - find it difficult to read. Especially the white on white !

I agree, but if you hold your mouse button down and drag across the page it changes the volour enough to read it.
