AngryAmish Posted May 7, 2013 #3 Posted May 7, 2013 Wouldn't be surprised if a crotch rocket was involved !
rickardracing Posted May 7, 2013 #4 Posted May 7, 2013 Wouldn't be surprised if a crotch rocket was involved ! I would not say that. I saw a patched Harley boy on Groesbeck yesterday cutting off cars for 2 miles. He did not get any farther ahead than the rest of us. And I mean he was riding like an a$$, actually passed in a car in the center turn lane. I was waiting for him to end up getting splattered. Never a cop around when you need one.
Midicat Posted May 7, 2013 #5 Posted May 7, 2013 May 6, 2013 at 5:58 AM 3 killed in 2 motorcycle crashes in state Posted by Nick Provenza QUILCENE (AP) — Three people were killed in two motorcycle crashes over the weekend on Highway 101 in Western Washington. Montague of Lacey died at the scene. The other rider, 45-year-old Rodney T. Sutherland of Port Hadlock, was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Thomas

Snaggletooth Posted May 7, 2013 #7 Posted May 7, 2013 Both riders were ejected I mean what does that mean? They didn't have their seat belts on? Like they had a choice. Geesh. Sad news, but not all that hard to belive with the behavior I've seen by some riders.
Trader Posted May 7, 2013 #8 Posted May 7, 2013 collided head-on Sunday afternoon on a curve One of them drifted wide on the corner into oncoming lane??? Surprised you don't hear of that on the Dragon.
Miles Posted May 7, 2013 #9 Posted May 7, 2013 I had this conversation with my wife yesterday at lunch. It seems that in the first accident...the one where two bikes collided head on...there was indeed a crotch rocket (AngryAmish was correct) that went too wide, because of speed, through a curve, and crossed over into the oncoming traffic lane. Coming from the other direction was a single rider on an HD. They met head on in the curve, and both riders were thrown off their bieks in the impact. The only one to DIE in this accident was the crotch rocket rider. The HD rider does have injuries, but not life threatening. In the second accident a couple was riding their bike, a large touring bike, and it did not state what brand or model it was...when they were hit head on by a large 4x4 pickup that was passing another car, and crossed over into the bikes' lane, from the opposite direction. Both the people on the bike were killed.
