Saddlebags removal 82 Goldwing

I traded my non running 96 Tour for an 82 Wing I plan to resale. I have my eye on an 08 RSV. Anyway it has the removable bags that look like suitcases. I can pull the pin up but it doesn't release either bag. How does one remove them? Thanks

Must be another bag type, my stock '82 Aspencade bags bolt on.
