The only difference I can think of might be the spring tension?? I've taken good used 83-85 diaphragms and put them in 86-93's and visa versa without any bad experiences..... but I do try to keep the original springs. Maybe I've been screwing up??? But they run..... ?? Anyone actually know what the difference would be??? Now I'm really curious.....

I know nothing, but the only Difference i can imagine, would be the Borings on the bottom of the Slides. They could be different Size.
kycaveman Posted February 14, 2008 #30 Posted February 14, 2008 http://www.flatoutmotorcycles.com/fiche_select.asp, Just wanted to pass it on again guys, Flatout sells Yamaha OEM for $55.00 for the 1200. This is their regular everyday price, no sales, no one time bargain, just there everyday price. I purchased over $500 worth of stuff from them and their Customer Service was flat-on. Quick to return calls and emails. Like I said, just passing it on
WilCruise Posted February 14, 2008 #31 Posted February 14, 2008 All I know is that NOTHING can take your breath away like a 24 year old with a fresh set of diaphragms!
