First Gen Intercom/headset?

I just bought an 84 Venture Royale. The radio looks like it has an intercom, and has a headset button that blanks the speakers out when pushed, but I don't see anywhere to plug in headsets. I pulled the audio panel and there isn't anyplace to plug cables in there either. Was this perhaps an option not installed on my bike when new?

there should be 2 places to plug in. ON my 91 there is a audio control unit on the back of the bike just beside the passengers left hand ( as setting on bike) mounted to the trunk. It will have a 5 pin hook up for the headset for the passenger. On the front there will be a 5 pin plug secured to the tank cover on a 3 ft or so lead. Just left ( again setting on the bike) coming out of the fairing just to the side of the radio unit.
