I've read a bunch about replacing my shield. I had sort of decided on the F4 Customs but I see Baggershield is having a sale (ends tonight). With 30% total including our 10% member discount I'm thinking hard about the cost difference and being able to go between short and tall in a flash. My wife will like the extra bubble from what I've read. I'll like the air on those really hot days here in NC.

Before I pull the trigger I'm going to ask what's been asked before on this site.... do I buy one?

Is the extra thickness going to give me any problems installing with my shield tool bag tucked down in between fairing and shield?

Any thoughts at all from you guys is valued highly by me.

Thanks in advance.

I rode with mine for the first time Firday and it did well I was surprised how much wind it knocked off in the short position. The extra thickness should not effect your bags.

Got my Baggershield today and installed it. Only took mins. to install. Tried both low profile and quick mounting hardware. I like the quick mounting hardware best. Low is nice too but I like the convenience of the quick method and it looks just fine. Haven't had a chance to ride with it yet my seats are on their way to Rick Butler's. I'm out of town next week so I'll give ya'll my impression of the ride difference late next week.

I have that too and I like it with the shield down for riding, but with the wife on there or on the freeway for awhile I would need to put it up. Right now I feel the wind crossing the top of my helmet.
