Black wing Posted April 28, 2013 #1 Posted April 28, 2013 so im trying to get the electrical up to date on my VR and have the fuse box from buckeye http://www.buckeyeperformance.com/p22.htm and i picked up a new accessory rail and i just dont seem to have the room others do under the top of the foux tank. when ever i try to put the cover back on the cover hits the fuse box and stops almost a half an inch from the hook. is my battery bigger than stock? if any one knows the height of a stock battery it would be appreciated

Doesn't leave a lot of extra room.
Snaggletooth Posted April 28, 2013 #3 Posted April 28, 2013 When I did the '84 I had to re-work the wires around a bit then set it back on top of the air box. Still tight but it fits.
