CaptainJoe Posted April 28, 2013 #2 Posted April 28, 2013 "He used no plans and no detailed drawings, but these models are reflective of each full-size machine that he personally worked with over the years." That in itself is a remarkable feat... we could all learn a lesson from him...
FuzzyRSTD Posted April 28, 2013 #4 Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) Very good story of a hard working achiever, a family man, a farmer, a soldier of war, an appreciative immigrant, a American citizen, and just a simple man. Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. Such great craftsmanship. I would really like to see this sometime, located in American Precision Museum in Windsor, VT. http://http://www.americanprecision.org/ http://http://www.americanprecision.org/2011the-miniatures-of-john-aschauer-master-craftman http://www.americanprecision.org/2011-12-08-16-25-51/general-information-and-directions Fuzzy Edited April 28, 2013 by FuzzyRSTD
