USB Charger installed

I finally got my USB charger in the mail. And got it installed. It is close to the saddlebag so I can run the cable into the bag and charge the phone while we are not there.

That's a pretty cool connector. Where will you keep the device?

 

I put in dual Powerlets, and ran a cord to my tank bag. That's where my USB chargers are. The other Powerlet is used for electrical undies.

Just curious. I just finished doing a dual plug in and USB port in my trunk today to charge the phone and cameras. What size fuse did you go with?

The fuse holder came with a 30 but I'm putting a few 10 in it. I put it in the back so that I can put the wire into the saddle bags with the phone to charge it

Thanks. Ran it with a 10 tonight. Might try to go lighter and see how that goes. This set up is for the phone and camera charging only. Heavier ports for compressor and such are in the fairing.

 

Mine is a bit bulkier but it gives me options for change. Got a switch box with room for controls for the trunk lights and fuses are inside.
