Barnett Clutch, Question??

Question: on 08 RSTD,

Can you just use a Barnett Pressure Plate unit, and leave the original OEM Clutch plates in place.

 

OR: Do you have to also use the Barnett set of new clutch plates ???

 

As I recall, on a 1st Gen you could just replace the pressure plate with the new Barnett unit. Not sure on 2nd gens ??

 

I ride Solo, no trailer, etc etc, :confused24:

You can just use the pressure plate and springs. The OEM clutch plates will be fine.

I changed the organic plates in mine as "might as well while I'm in there" thing... They were cheap enough and I got 80K on my Barnett Clutch setup and still works great...
