Fuel pump

I'm not having any problems with my fuel pump, but it is almost 30 years old. I am thinking that in order to be sure I dont get stranded 500 miles from home, replacing it would be a good idea.

 

IS there a more modern unit that is the same or close enough that it fits well for the MK-I 1 st gen bikes?

This one has been used by others. It's not a direct bolt-in but it will fit in the same area.

This one is almost identical to the stock pump. I don't if it's more modern but it will be new and a lot cheaper than one from a dealer.
