octoberboy Posted April 24, 2013 #1 Posted April 24, 2013 I am wondering if the vent on an F4 obstructs any of the drivers view. Reading other threads about people getting bugs in their face gave me the impression it might be up a bit higher than I think I might like.
steamer Posted April 24, 2013 #2 Posted April 24, 2013 All the vents I've seen are pretty low on the shield, can't see how it could be in the line of sight. I believe they are directional so maybe if you aim it at your face then yes, you might eat some bugs.
thecount Posted April 25, 2013 #3 Posted April 25, 2013 I have an F4 sheild at nearly stock height, with the vent (Goldwing style) and not had bug issues. Great in the warm weather. Very good wind sheild.

I'm not 6'3" and I look out of the top 1/4. The vent is in the lower 1/4. Search for my review thread. I have a pic there with the OEM in front of the F4. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
