DwightGA Posted February 10, 2008 #3 Posted February 10, 2008 Thanks For the pictures. I had a great time. It was good to meet everyone. Venture riders are wonder folks. I am going to try to attend these events as often as I can. Dwight
Guest KitCarson Posted February 10, 2008 #4 Posted February 10, 2008 That Triumph looks like it might get around pretty good!! Who is on the red cherry Wing? Glad all of you had a good time.....and the weather turned out so well.......
Gary N. Posted February 10, 2008 #5 Posted February 10, 2008 Hey George, I think it was a year ago today that we met you guys for the Savanna GA meet and eat. That was a great time too. We really enjoyed visiting with you folks and touring the city.

We really enjoyed visiting with you folks and touring the city. Bobbie and I remember the M&E too. I could not believe you and Leslie made a M&E in Georgia back then, especially a couple from Canada coming in the winter time. Heck I thought you two rode the bike all the way, down, until Bobbie later told me you two had a camper, trailering the bike.
mini-muffin Posted February 11, 2008 #7 Posted February 11, 2008 Nice pics Bobbie as usual. Hey George were you looking for a bike to keep up with Jeff? Margaret
Riderduke Posted February 11, 2008 #8 Posted February 11, 2008 If I could afford a second bike i would love to have the Triumph Rocket III. I got to test drive it and Loved the HP on that bike.

I got to test drive it and Loved the HP on that bike. I could tell that George really, really likes that bike. I could see it in his eyes! Now all he has to do is ride one and I think he will be hooked. We have room in the garage for a second bike sooooo we shall see!!
Guest Torpedo Posted February 11, 2008 #10 Posted February 11, 2008 Wow... seeing how much hi-viz yellow material it takes to cover my fat self up, maybe i should just do the "meet" and not the "eat" next time. Holy cow... http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawks%20Mechanic%20GA%20MaE%20Feb%2008/IMG_0781.jpg

Guest KitCarson Posted February 12, 2008 #12 Posted February 12, 2008 Go ahead and eat!! They do make Hi-Viz in stretch fabric:stirthepot::rotfl:
geresti Posted February 12, 2008 #13 Posted February 12, 2008 Thanks for the pxs especially since I was riding behind you and was in a lot of them. I think it's been great being at both of these M&E and sitting next to different folks each time and meeting new people. I'm playing a concert on the 23rd of this month in the Historic Theatre in Canton, GA. Feel free to ride up. I have plenty of room at my house in woodstock and I'm off this month in case any of you have free ridin time. I rode with Terry and 2 of his friends sunday in the wind and was fun! Can't wait for the next one. Bob http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_2_110.gif http://www.smileycentral.com/sig.jsp?pc=ZSzeb113&pp=ZNxmk393BBUS
86er Posted February 12, 2008 #14 Posted February 12, 2008 Nice pics Bobbie as usual. Hey George were you looking for a bike to keep up with Jeff? Margaret Me thinks Georgie is exhibiting the beginning stages of MBD! Great pics Bobbie! Especially since you didn't get my bald spot like Gene likes to do!
pick Posted February 14, 2008 #15 Posted February 14, 2008 Damn, looks as if I missed yet another good one.......................
86er Posted February 14, 2008 #16 Posted February 14, 2008 Yeah, you did miss a good one, Chris. I hope you can make one of our breakfasts in the future. They are going to move around the metro area so one day it should be closer to you. You know that on the 23rd Eck is having a M&E in Al. That's not too far from you. Don't know yet if I'll make it, but if I do, maybe we can meet up and ride over together.
pick Posted February 19, 2008 #17 Posted February 19, 2008 yeah, Eck was telling me about it when he came to the house to sync my carbs. Would love to make it, but its the weekend I have duty and theres a motocross in the Ga. Dome, I'll have to work that night too. We're leaving the following Wed. morning for Daytona for Bike Week, so inbetween I'll be tightening up the bike and getting the t-bags packed. We'll make one for sure this spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the only other trip we have planned is Salsibury for the Horse Smoke Out in June. Thinking of Thunder on the beach in PC in May, but I'll wait till we get back from Daytona. Ride safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
