Stupid question of the day from a new owner.

How the heck do you keep the tape deck door closed.

Mine will NOT stay closed

Now before I remove half the fairing to get at it is there a trick I should know ?

I guese if all else fails i can glue the darn thing closed and plug in an aux jack

for an I Pod.

There is no trick, it is supposed to latch automatically when you push it closed. Either there is something keeping it from fully closing and latching or the latch mechanism is broken.

I just got rid of mine altogether, and put an mp3 amp....

Try blowing the latch area with compressed air, and using a light penetrating oil in the openings. I have seen this mentioned before.
