Brake Pad Posted April 23, 2013 #26 Posted April 23, 2013 Yep, Here in Florida too, But car size. Yearly renewal
Mel Posted April 23, 2013 #27 Posted April 23, 2013 been using the tag off a trailer I sold years ago, they keep sending me a renewal every year and I keep renewing it. If I get stopped they would never know that the trailer I am pulling isn't the one stated on the registration. I also use it on several trailers. And now the whole world knows (or at least the ones who visit this site).
gunboat Posted April 23, 2013 #28 Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) Texas requires it also, same size as a car/truck plate. cost as much as the one for the bike. regards don c. p.s. got to renew it every year. but no safety inspection required. Edited April 23, 2013 by gunboat
Condor Posted April 23, 2013 #29 Posted April 23, 2013 Here in Kalifornia all utility trailers require a PTI (permanent trailer identification) plate that's renewable every 5 years for $20 bucks. My only beef is that the plate is the size of those on a auto instead of smaller like on the bike. Some of these smaller trailers look like they are all plate on the rear.....
bongobobny Posted April 23, 2013 #30 Posted April 23, 2013 Yup, I agree with you Jack! NY has car size plates as well! I'm thinking they just don't understand that there are trailers for motorcycles...
timgray Posted April 23, 2013 #31 Posted April 23, 2013 Michigan requires a plate, and it's a full size car plate.
