Flooorboard fitment

Hi Folks, I have a chance at a set of floorboards that fit an '83 first gen. I have an '87 (mkII ?) Will these fit my ride? So much already interchanges that I thought I'd check. Here's the link to the goods.

From what I have been told in the past they will not fit. Never tried it myself.

We've managed to do it the other way around, but not sure about the way you want to do it. It's not a perfect exchange.

No. the floorboards for and 83 will not fit an 87.

I put a set from my 83 on my 86. But it took a bit of fabricating. If I remember we had to make a U shaped bolt to make one side fit. They were Yamaha boards and the flat bar up front was flat. This one looks curved. I didn't look to see if the brand name was mentioned in the ad. They kinda look like Marklands ??
