AngryAmish Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I am getting a CD Changer (Clarion model). My question is, where do I connect it ? Is there a C-BUS cable connector behind the cassette deck that attaches to it ? Thanks
M61A1MECH Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Yes there is an open connector inside the fairing behind he cassette player. You will need to pull the seats and the tank to route the harness back to the trunk or saddle bag.
milway venture Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Mine is located in the trunk, I like it there.
AngryAmish Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 Mine is located in the trunk, I like it there. Doesn't take too much space (helmets, etc ...)
M61A1MECH Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) Depends on how you mount it, I have mine in the trunk, but did not get the factory mounting harware with mine, so I just fabbed an aluminum strap to hold it place, I wear half helmets and can still put two of them in the trunk if need be. Here is a shot of mine installed. Edited April 19, 2013 by M61A1MECH spelling correction
Barrycuda Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Mine is located on L saddlebag. Initially was going to ask( bug) Steve to switch positions, but I use the trunk more. Also, I keep it snugged down, and pretty much add my cycle pump, knives, some tools, fuses, cargo net and my FROGG TOGGS . So that pretty much takes that saddle bag out of commission. I don't mind. I use a full face helmet so I want that trunk space if need be.
