Guest Posted April 18, 2013 #4 Posted April 18, 2013 Looks like Yama Mamas husbands bike. If I remember correctly they were made from early Chevy truck mirror casings.
XV1100SE Posted April 18, 2013 Author #5 Posted April 18, 2013 Liked the look of them when I saw them. Came across the picture the other day and would like to see about getting a set.
XV1100SE Posted April 18, 2013 Author #7 Posted April 18, 2013 is there a stickie on them somewhere I didn't see one at the time and don't see one in the picture.

XV1100SE Posted April 19, 2013 Author #18 Posted April 19, 2013 Wonder what they're like in the rain? Andy Anyone comment on how this type of intake would function in the rain?
Freebird Posted April 19, 2013 #19 Posted April 19, 2013 I am more concerned more with the amount of air that is getting to the carbs. I've read reports of some folks drilling holes to increase the air flow and then going back later and plugging them up due to performance decreases. If that is the case, I wonder if this mod would require a rejet of the carbs? Hopefully Moped will comment soon.
