Members stats?

So, how is it that the home page 'mini stats' indicates 10,816 members, and the members page indicates 1,768 members?

Thats a big variation.

The stats counter progresses anytime somebody registers. Some register and then never officially join. Others have come and gone over the years. The members list does not include expired memberships, expired trial members that left, people who have sold their bikes or move on for other reasons. That number used to be more than 14,000 but I pruned it recently and will do so again at some point.

Actually no one knows for sure. Don's the keeper of the formula, and sometimes he doesn't know... It's a closely guarded secret.... It kinda fluctuates like the tide...
