midnightrider1300 Posted April 16, 2013 #1 Posted April 16, 2013 I work in sales at a yamaha, polaris, can-am, suzuki dealership. yamaha has announced it is not gonna make the rhino (lead the industry a few yrs ago ) after this year & has called a dealership meeting in vegas in june for the 1st time in 5 years to UNVEIL a new lineup. yamaha motorcycle sales are way down, they can't continue to live in the past.... why is the japenese auto makers continue to be on cutting edge of technology and the motorcycle makers continue to dwell in the past..this has been kept under wraps NOTHING has leaked out which is unusual .....I think they are getting desperate...
GeorgeS Posted April 16, 2013 #2 Posted April 16, 2013 Well, lets see?? No jobs, not much money, in most case's a motorcycle is at the bottom of the list on most peoples budget, planning. Here in Seattle, the roads are clogged with Cheap, Cars, I think even Ford, and Chevy are under the gun as far as sales. Korean cars, seem to be selling the most cars around here. Lowest price, rules the day.
