kevin-vic-b.c. Posted April 16, 2013 #1 Posted April 16, 2013 Now I get to start asking the 2nd gen questions. I managed to sync the carbs with the fantastic tec forum here..... now I need to re-align the headlight... simple right.... how the heck do I remove the chrome ring? I removed the screw at the bottom but the ring stays in place and I dont want to break it but it dont seem to move.
M61A1MECH Posted April 16, 2013 #2 Posted April 16, 2013 To adjust the the head light on the 2nd gens there is a knob on the left side of the fairng. No need to take any thing loose. Look to the left of the neck cover, should be a knob there.

The chrome ring is held in place with screws from the inside. As has been mentioned the adjustments are not there. Look on the left lower side of the rear (handlebar side) of the fairing, down next to the steering head, there should be a knob to adjust the light up and down. Now if you look on the lower right side, you should see a kinda large, gold colored, Phillips head screw. This is the left/right adjustment for the headlight.
