Bombs at Boston Marathon..........

2 people confirmed dead, over 100 injured by 2 bomb blast on the Boston Marathon route at the finish line and another 1 block away, a third bomb went of at the JFK Library. Another bomb found before it detonated. Prayers for all involved.

Asked if blasts were terror-related, Boston police chief said "We’re not being definitive... but you can reach your own conclusions."

Maybe it was a N Korean missile attack.........

They said on the news a few minutes ago the fire at the JFK Library was an electrical fire and unrelated to the bombings.

My wife's trainer is there running, we can find her 1/2 way time that if she held her pace would put her very close to the bombs time but no record of her finish...... yes we pray

Amazing to me how none of the Media commentators want to talk about the most obvious source of " Terrorist Attacks " !!

 

Been listioning to everything since the event, amazing, nobody will touch the obvious !!

It happened on tax day it might be some disgruntled American "protesting" taxes.

We put on a run every year for Autism ( runforautism.com ) and we give our thoughts and prayers to all the fine folks there.

 

Any act like this is a cowardly act of terrorism, this reminds us again that there is evil in the world and that we need to pay attention to our surroundings to do our part in combating it. If something doesn't seem right, follow your instincts, it probably isn't. Being prepared and vigilant and being paranoid is a fine line at times.

First I would like to say my wife's trainer is safe, we opened our local paper today... front page is full of photo and story and the first words in the story was Pam from Victoria... she is safe and has done an interview with our paper...... a relief.

 

The words Terrorist Attack need to be used very carefully, the very first thing that happens when the incident is declared a Terrorist Attack is that every insurance company globally cancels every insurance policy that has been taken out for everyone there and trying to get medical aid, loss of work claims, rehab claims etc.

 

Home grown Terrorists are as bad as the ones that come elsewhere.

 

Victoria holds a Marathon every fall that is a "qualifier" for the Boston Marathon.
