Peder_y2k Posted April 15, 2013 Share #2 Posted April 15, 2013 The Boston Globe http://www.coveritlive.com/templates/coveritlive/images/twitter_bird.png Asked if blasts were terror-related, Boston police chief said "We’re not being definitive... but you can reach your own conclusions." Maybe it was a N Korean missile attack......... Pete, in Tacoma WA USA '83,

KarlS Posted April 15, 2013 Share #5 Posted April 15, 2013 They said on the news a few minutes ago the fire at the JFK Library was an electrical fire and unrelated to the bombings.

GeorgeS Posted April 16, 2013 Share #10 Posted April 16, 2013 Amazing to me how none of the Media commentators want to talk about the most obvious source of " Terrorist Attacks " !! Been listioning to everything since the event, amazing, nobody will touch the obvious !!
Trader Posted April 16, 2013 Share #11 Posted April 16, 2013 "obvious"....you mean like Oklahoma? There is nothing obvious! It happened on tax day it might be some disgruntled American "protesting" taxes. Regardless.....a horrible event and proof we need a higher power to step in and fix this old world! dacheedah Posted April 16, 2013 Share #12 Posted April 16, 2013 We put on a run every year for Autism ( runforautism.com ) and we give our thoughts and prayers to all the fine folks there. Any act like this is a cowardly act of terrorism, this reminds us again that there is evil in the world and that we need to pay attention to our surroundings to do our part in combating it. If something doesn't seem right, follow your instincts, it probably isn't. Being prepared and vigilant and being paranoid is a fine line at times. kevin-vic-b.c. Posted April 16, 2013 Share #13 Posted April 16, 2013 (edited) First I would like to say my wife's trainer is safe, we opened our local paper today... front page is full of photo and story and the first words in the story was Pam from Victoria... she is safe and has done an interview with our paper...... a relief. The words Terrorist Attack need to be used very carefully, the very first thing that happens when the incident is declared a Terrorist Attack is that every insurance company globally cancels every insurance policy that has been taken out for everyone there and trying to get medical aid, loss of work claims, rehab claims etc. Home grown Terrorists are as bad as the ones that come elsewhere. Victoria holds a Marathon every fall that is a "qualifier" for the Boston Marathon. Edited April 16, 2013 by kevin-vic-b.c. more info
