I took a little ride through Palo Duro Canyon, in the Texas Panhandle, last Friday, the 12th of April.

A few still pictures, and a video, are the result.

Very nice Brian. Had the mature mesquites began to bloom yet? I went there a couple of years ago with my daughter, very scenic, very hot, mid summer 100 plus. I may go back in a week or too. Thanks for the video.

Last year, by mid-April, it was hitting 95-100 degrees nearly every day here in the panhandle. Its not near as hot this year, and my trip into the canyon was quite pleasant.

The little snackstore is still open, but otherwise, its a fairly primitive place. Bring lots of supplies.

When you go, take some pics! :happy34:

so do you find the ride comfey

Compared to what? Compared to a touring bike, no.

Compared to sitting on a cinderblock, yes.

:smile5:

It's not all-day comfy like a road bike. But its not a road bike. It's a street legal ATV and lots of fun around town.

When the snow flies, or the gravel and dirt roads look inviting, this bike will happily make forward progress. And carry hundreds of pounds of gear, or a smiling passenger. But its not a 'road sofa'. :cool17:
