charlie h. Posted April 15, 2013 #2 Posted April 15, 2013 Boss makes a media player stereo that uses sdcard or usb flash drives, and has aux input, also AM/FM stereo... about $50. You can replace the stock stereo, or if you have a standard venture, mount it in the left fairing pocket!
Squidley Posted April 15, 2013 #3 Posted April 15, 2013 Fred, If you have the factory cassette deck and it still works, get a cassette adapter and use it in the deck. You can go and get any MP3 player and plug it into the adapter and run it through the bikes speakers. I have been doing it for years on my 1st gens...

van avery Posted April 15, 2013 #5 Posted April 15, 2013 I mounted one of these on my 83 and hooked it to the existing speakers and didn't work to bad. With all the wind noise anyway crystal clear recepetion isn't needed. This also has a jack for your Ipod to plug in. http://www.ebay.com/itm/12V-FM-MOTORCYCLE-RADIO-WATERPROOF-SPEAKER-MP3-INPUT-/390333284964?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae1ad4264&vxp=mtr
dacheedah Posted April 15, 2013 #6 Posted April 15, 2013 I would think you could get or make a din to audio plug adapter and put a jumper in and just go direct.
