Had the clutch apart, the middle gear cover off, the clutch slave, and all the brakes. It must have come from somewhere,, or is it a coffee can item?

I was thinking that it was some sort of bumper that sits inside the clutch cover lower rear corner for the shift rod inside to bump up against at the end of its movement. Guess I will have to take the cover off again to be sure. Its solid rubber with a mushroom head and two ribs around the barrel part to retain it in a hole.

Doesn't it SUX, when, after you've completely assembled a project.... You find one or two "extra " parts?

Been there ....

Done that...:whistling:

Question, is it essential for it to be there, or, is it an option to leave it off?
