citrus orange

on a whim i tied citrus orange hand cleaner without pumice on my chrome pieces and found that it removed rust and rust staining easily and quickly without scratchingand the residue rinsed off with plain water. Iam not having the same luck cleaning the paint that the previous owner had neglected. Anyone have a suggestion on aproduct that will do the job without having to spend a week scrubbing .

I used fiberglass polish/cleaner on plastic parts.....might also work on metal painted parts.....heavily chromed parts respond to navel jelly (Yes, they still make it!) and Turtle Chrome Cleaner to seal the finish

Try using a Meguiars clay bar to remove old build up on painted parts.
