What do you think it's worth

1983 Yamaha Venture Royal completely stock runs fine shifts fine condition 8 outta 10 condition wise no rust or pitting paints fine and ONLY 10,000 MILES!! And the Mileage is accurate per Title shows he purchase with 8600 on it about 8 years ago. I need an Idea of what something like this is worth. Does it have any collector value or is it just a low mileage old bike.

Really not collector value unless its show room and ultra low mileage, other than that sounds like a nice rider. I wouldnt pay more than $1800-2000.00 for it. Its still a 30 yr old bike and whether its been riden or been sitting the plastic is still 30 years old and brittle, dont ask me how I know..............

What DragonRider says is largely correct, however, location of sale makes a big difference, and so does season. Motorcycles seem to sell for more $$ in the Pacific Northwest as compared to much of the rest of the country. Bargains are where you find them.

Yes, the '83 was not the most stellar year with several bugs that were fixed in '84 except for the 2nd gear issue that wasn't fixed until halfway thru the '85 year. I'd say 2K, maybe 2500 if you are lucky but doubt it...
