Just thinking of getting out for my first ride of the season, and doing a final charge to the battery. I have two battery tenders and 3 batteries, and changed them around every week all winter.

All the cords look like an octopus. I disconnected my seadoo battery and went to plug the Venture battery in but dropped the cord. I quickly picked up the cord and matched up the ends and pushed them together. Sparks and a loud pop sound. I connected my seadoo battery to the Venture battery by mistake. The seadoo battery will still take a charge, but the Venture battery will no longer take a charge.

All you technical/mechanical guys out there can laugh. Is there any saving the battery or is it toast?

Replace it with the original Yuasa, and it will be another 5 to 6 years before you have to replace again. I have never had any other brand last as long.
