Couple of Questions

I want to show my patriotism by placing some small American Flags near the tips of the antennas. What better way to show your patriotism by sticking an american flag on your Japaneese motorcycle. :usa: Does anyone have any vendor recommendations? I could probably pick them up at any flag store, but I thought I would ask hear first.

 

Also how do you guys mount your ipods onto your scooters, the handlebars? Are there any photos out there?

I use the small flags that have the wood or plastic stixs and tape them on with some black tape.

I advise against your plan - not flying the flags, but do not put them on your antennas. Quite a few owners have experienced busted antennas from doing this. Get some bike antenna mounts for for your trunk rack or your chrome bag rails.

I agree. If you want the flags on the antennas mount them 1/2 way down not at very top. Use the bulge on the CB antenna as reference (just above that). Remember nothing bigger than 4"x 6" and the USA flag goes on the right side or behind you right shoulder. Below are 2 of the best sites I have found on biker flags.

Check price of new antenna before mounting anything on them, I wouldn't put Anything on antenna. There are many alternatives that display just as well.

 

 

 

Ferrantelli's post shows an excellent alternative to antenna mount. I like these 10 inchers. Various dealers sell trunk mount with flag for 1st & 2nd gens for $60.

I agree with Goose also, it will loosen up the bases and I have seen the antennas break right off. Also too remember that the American flag goes on the right side of the bike
