alvald83 Posted April 8, 2013 #1 Posted April 8, 2013 Is anyone using drivers floorboards? I see some on ebay and wondered if they'd work on non heel/toe shifter bike. How do they mount? Any Pics?
van avery Posted April 8, 2013 #2 Posted April 8, 2013 I think it depends on the type of Floor board you get. Here are some pic's of some of mine the 1 one ( silver engine and "red " bike is on 83 I don't own anymore). It bolted to the front section of the engine. Second and third pic's ( black engine and red bike) is on a different 83 front brace goes under engine. Forth pic is off 87 Royale also has brace under the front of the engine. All of these have heel toe shifters. Don't know if these will help you of not.
reddevilmedic Posted April 8, 2013 #3 Posted April 8, 2013 i didnt like the floor boards and heel toe...i took them off and went back to original setup..sold them to another member. the heel toe always seemed sloppy, no matter what i did.
alvald83 Posted April 8, 2013 Author #4 Posted April 8, 2013 i was hoping to use them it with the standard shifter.
reddevilmedic Posted April 8, 2013 #5 Posted April 8, 2013 maybe..not sure..but i just put highway pegs on the engine guard to stretch out.
