Hey guys,

How'd you like to spend a couple of weeks in the Aussie outback, sharing the road with one of these monsters?

The speed limit in the Northern Territory is 130km/hr (81mph) and it's hard enough overtaking one of these things in a tin tip, let alone attempting it on a bike.

But - y'all welcome to come on Down Under any time you like to give it a try. :080402gudl_prv:

Yep..you would need a bit of room to pass that one. It's not unusual at all here in Ohio though to see the big rigs pulling 3 trailers. Not as long as that but still long enough. I went by three of them yesterday on I80. Usually UPS or FedEx it seems like.

True Don, but the problem is you guys drive on the wrong side of the road.

Being a retired truck driver: the 3 trailer rigs u see in the US are limited to certain roads. I80 across Ohio being one of them. They can cross Indiana too but when reaching Illinois must drop the 3rd trailer. There are yards at the state line for just that purpose. Also the trailers are 28' and limited to that length. With only 2 axles they are meant for high volume/low weight loads- such as UPS or FedEX hauls. :backinmyday:
