I just finished up the winter maintenance I did on the 1999 RSV I picked up late last year.

I removed all of the radio gear since I didn't want it and I thought loosing the wight would be a good thing.

While I had the rear apart to remove the stuff under the tail trunk I put a new rear tire on and greased the drive shaft splines. Getting the splines re engaged to the U joint turned out to be an issue, but the manual served it's purpose here. But then found I should have checked here for an easier solution than what the manual had me do:headache:

Then, since I was into the front to remove the radio from there, I took it all apart so I could change the fork fluid.

While I was in there I also upgraded the front brakes and replaced the clutch line with braided stainless steel.

Of course I also took this oprtunity to clean everything the best I could.

Weather prevented a longer test ride, but after 120 miles all looks set for a nice full year of riding.

Looks good  are you going to get rid of the radio stuff?

Sorry but you are a little late.

I posted a link up in the Ebay section when it went up there for sale.
