I have used Bike Brite and I think it works well if you need a spray on cleaner. I just bought a bottle of the S100 on recomendation from a fellow rider as I had used up all the bike brite. Only thing I have tried it on is the nasty brake dusty wheels on the wifes Durango. I can tell you I was pretty impressed with it. They were a redish black color from the brake dust. Sprayed on the S100 and a couple minutes rinsed it off. You could atleast tell they were suposed to be silver. Besster than any other "spray on" wheel cleaner I have tried. So I think it will do good. Usually I use just the spray on detail wax. Only use the S100 type stuff if its really dirty or I got caught in rain.

Whats the part number for the Honda polish? I'll se eif I can order it thru work. Can't justify $21.95 for a small can of Plexus anymore.

Whats the ss1?

Dion, it's a product made by poor boy. I use to use it on my BMW M3. Was amazing and left little to no swirl or residue. I asked a lot of questions when I first had the ultimate driving machine from those who detail high end cars. That product kept being said. They make a ss1, a ss2 and other products. I believe 1 is not as abrasive. I still use it on my Vulcan and it looks spit shine new, and its 13 years old. Just lazier now so it's due for another one..

Craig,

You need to show me how to use that stuff on my GW.

You know, one of those "real live demonstrations"........ :cool10:....:twing:

For cleaning, SHOUT,,,, the laundry spray stuff. Good on chrome and painted surfaces. Not so much on the tires. Greased Lightning or that Green stuff is better on tires.

Also, there was a hose end unit by Mr Clean with good soap and a drying agent. But I think that is off the market.

Or spend $$$ on MC specific.

There are some people you just have to show twice (or more) before they catch on.....:stickpoke:

I gave Saddlebum a real live demo on his scoot, and now he has taken all the engine covers to get polished and thinking on who he rope into doing the rest of the scoot around the clean spots.
