Guest tx2sturgis Posted March 28, 2013 #1 Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) A previous member here, Dusty, member name 'MrOldFart2U', and later known as DFred1, has passed on. He was not very active on the forums, but did post occasionally, and was the other DJ, the one with the deep voice, when we ran OldFartRadio together. A few years ago, he and I ran a live chatroom music program for the VR chatroom here. Dusty was a good, close friend for almost 30 years, but the last 4 years or so, he has been fighting cancer. It finaly took his life on Wednesday, March 27. He was 57 years old. Thanks to all the many members who participated in the chatroom radio broadcasts several years ago. This thread has a few of his posts from during that time...we sure had fun with it: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=48207&highlight=mroldfart&page=2 Dusty was very active on several Ford and muscle car forums...he had lots of friends online and in person. He will be greatly missed. http://amarillo.com/obituaries/2013-03-28/cb-dusty-frederick Edited March 29, 2013 by tx2sturgis added obit
