Whitlow Posted March 23, 2013 #1 Posted March 23, 2013 After sitting during the cold season I started the bike with no problems. It was running when I noticed a puddle of gas on the floor. It is dripping off the bottom of the carbs I put a can of seafoam in the tank and ran it turning the gas off and letting the carbs run dry, then opened gas doing this over maybe 25 to 30 times. Still it is leaking i can close the pepcock about half way and it will not leak while riding it. I guess the floats are stuck. I was told to but some avation fuel and run a tank full maybe that would clean them and stop them from sticking. Any help from you all please reply.
onenut Posted March 23, 2013 #2 Posted March 23, 2013 Had trouble with mine I tried the trick with beating on the bowl with a screwdriver and had no luck finally got out my air hose and put the blower nozzle on it and blew through the holes on the carb finally got whatever it was to let loose of the float needle and haven't had any trouble since:fingers-crossed-emo
Whitlow Posted March 24, 2013 Author #3 Posted March 24, 2013 Did you blow air in the carb where the drain holes are in the bottom?
