Power Trippin Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Posted March 19, 2013 I took my cluster out to lube the speedo. Now I'm thinking about replacing all of the bulbs with led's. I am guessing that someone has probably tried this, but I haven't found any threads talking about it. Are there any reasons I shouldn't put led's in the cluster?
Flyinfool Posted March 19, 2013 #2 Posted March 19, 2013 There are a few threads about changing the dash to LED. I'll go hunting......

Snaggletooth Posted March 20, 2013 #6 Posted March 20, 2013 This is a great source for all LED needs. If you can't find what you want here I don't know if they make it. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/led-vehicle-replacement-bulbs/

Suggest you leave the White RLU indicator an incandescent bulb. If you check in the dark, it glows very faintly. With LED it is nearly full bright.

Since I have converted to HID I no longer have an RLU, I put in a bright flashing red LED in that location, that is only on and flashing if the headlight is off, as my idiot light to tell me I forgot to turn on the headlight.
