bj66 Posted March 17, 2013 #53 Posted March 17, 2013 Agree with a lot of these posts. I myself usually address people as sir or maam. As in yes sir or yes maam. When I have to barge past that inconsiderate lady in the store blocking the aisle while talking on her cell, I usually say excuse me maam...and lightly tap her on the shoulder as I walk by to let her know I am coming through. Wouldnt want to scare her too badly since she isnt paying attention. What makes me really mad though is employees and businesses with no regard to the public. One store around here has approximately 24 checkout lines (Wal-Mart), and only about 5 checkers at any one time. But they have tried to remedy the crowded line problem. Last month they added about 10 more self checkout lines.....Unbelieveable. Gonna have to start shopping for my odds and ends stuff elsewhere.
