XV1100SE Posted March 14, 2013 #1 Posted March 14, 2013 MarCarl put me onto this stuff. Great lubricant. On sale at TSC for $9.99 ($5 off) - March 15th - 21st http://www.fluid-film.com/
Marcarl Posted March 14, 2013 #2 Posted March 14, 2013 Thanks, I could use a half dozen at that price.
Gary N. Posted March 14, 2013 #3 Posted March 14, 2013 It's also very good for rust prevention. It will creep into body seams. I like to spray it on fittings and connectors under my vehicles like the fuel filter and the spare tire hanger on my truck.
TDbiker Posted March 15, 2013 #4 Posted March 15, 2013 I was first introduced to Fluid Film back in the 1980's when working for Western Air Lines. They used it for a multitude of aviation applications, so I figured it must be pretty good. I've been using it ever since. Always keep some on my auto battery terminals and never experience any corrosion.
darthandy Posted March 15, 2013 #5 Posted March 15, 2013 Never used it or heard of it till now. Sounds a lot like the stuff in Rust Check which also creeps everywhere ... even "uphill". Wonder if it might be the same formula under a different name? Andy
